Project Overview
In a large-scale residential complex project undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau, a large amount of waste mud was generated during foundation excavation and pile foundation construction. Due to the narrow construction site and the rainy season, mud transportation was difficult, which seriously hindered the progress of subsequent construction.
Technology application
Nanjing Beigu Engineering Materials Co., Ltd. was invited to provide technical support. We recommend the use of "powder sludge solidifier", which can quickly absorb moisture in the slurry and undergo chemical reactions.
effectiveness evaluation
Field tests show that 2 hours after adding the curing agent, the fluidity of the mud completely disappears; 24 hours later, the strength of the solidified soil reaches the expected level and can be directly used as backfill soil for roads in the community. This solution not only solved the environmental protection and cost problems of mud transportation, but also saved the project department a lot of backfill purchase costs, and was highly recognized by the project department of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau.
